Assessments

Evaluation/Assessment Page: Following each lab activity, you are going to be asked to rate the session. This will be a separate page on your blog, and helps me to see how I am doing, and for you to grade me in a way.
1. 1. Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic. (1-No Knowledge at all, 2-Very Little Knowledge, 3-Some knowledge, 4-A good amount of knowledge, 5-I knew all about this)
2. 2. Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic (1- I don’t really know enough to talk about the topic, 2- I know enough to explain what I did, 3-I know enough to repeat what I did, 4-I know enough to teach someone else, 5- I am an expert)
3. 3. Did the hands-on approach to this activity add to how much you were able to learn (1-Strongly Disagree, 2-Disagree, 3-No real opinion, 4-Agree, 5-Strongly Agree)
4. What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

Blog Creation:

1. 1   2. 4   3. 5   4. More time focused on creating our own blogs and less time reviewing old blogs.

Lab 2:

1. 2   2. 3   3. 5   4. A clear description of how to upload photos into blogger

Lab 3:

1. 2   2. 4   3. 5   4. Using data that we collected so that we could relate to the data more

Lab 4:

1. 3   2. 4   3. 5   4. Have more follow up labs in ArcPro to help solidify our understanding of the program rather than moving on to Pix4D so quickly.

Lab 5:

1. 2   2. 4   3.5   4. More structure to the lab write up for clearer learning objectives.

Lab 6:

1.2   2.3   3.4   4. This lab when paired with lab 5 was nice. It really allowed us to visualize the change of processing behaviors with and without the control points. It would have helped to be out in the field learning and handling the GCPs ourselves.

Lab 7:

1.2   2.2   3.4   4. The tutorials in this lab were very helpful. Overall this lab was very overwhelming, too many topics were covered at once. There were also too many piles to process, including the linch field data was a lot to process.
